Viva Pictures, Aniventure's “Hit Pig! to be Released in November

Viva Pictures has signed a deal with the U.S. distributor of Hit Pig! has signed a deal with the U.S. distributor of the film, which will be released in theaters on November 1, 2024.

The film is an adaptation of the characters first introduced in the children's book “Pete and Pickles” by Bloom County author Berkeley Blessed and is produced by the British production company Anniventure. Aniventure has previously completed “Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank” and “Riverdance: The Animated Adventure”. Animation is produced by Cinesite (“The Addams Family 2,” “Iwaju,” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem”).

Hit Pig is a clever bounty hunter pig who catches escaped animals and returns them to their owners. His next task is to return Pickles, a dancing elephant, to a mad showman in Las Vegas for one million dollars. A dancing elephant named Pickles must be returned to a mad showman in Las Vegas for $1 million. When danger looms, it is Hit Pig who saves the day, but he cannot do it alone. He realizes that there are more important things than a paycheck and finds his greatest blessing: his friends.
