Seven Artists Receive Emmy Awards from the Television Academy

The Television Academy has announced the winners of this year's Emmy Jury Awards in several categories, including the individual categories of animation and motion design.

Seven individuals were honored for individual achievement in the animation category. Three of them were for projects for Max and three for Netflix. The animator of Peacock's “In the Know” was the seventh person to receive the honor.

However, one show stood out above the rest, with the staff of Blue Eye Samurai winning all three of Netflix's individual achievement awards. The series was recognized for character design, production design, and storyboarding. On Max's side, three different projects were honored: Adventure Time: Fiona and the Cake (character animation), Scavengers Reign (background design), and Clone High (character design).

Films nominated in the judging categories were reviewed by a panel of experts from the appropriate peer group, and it is possible that one, more, or none of the films will receive an Emmy Award.
